Ideal for the new gun owner or those interested in learning to shoot, this introductory level course provides the student with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to safely handle, load, fire, and unload common types of pistols. Time is spent both in the classroom and on the firing range in a comfortable learning environment. The content of this course may fulfill local requirements for sports shooting clubs and other permits. (Check with your local issuing authorities for their specific requirements. In most cases, this course will exceed those requirements.)
