To be considered suitable for employment, applicants must generally not have used illegal drugs. The issue of illegal drug use prior to twelve months ago is carefully evaluated during the medical and security processing.
The Clearance Process
The clearance process, begins before you accept a conditional offer of employment from SIG. It involves a thorough examination of your previous employment history, fitness level and subject to satisfactory national police clearance report. Think of this process as the first step in building a bridge of trust between you and SIG. Candour is an essential ingredient in the establishment of that trust.

Your responsibility to adhere to high standards of personal conduct does not end on the first day of employment. SIG employees undergo regular reinvestigations, and revaluation of your performance.
